After honing their academic skills through Dutchess Community College, Institute students who have sharpened their skills in critical thinking, test taking, reading, writing and independent living skills can transfer to Dean College in Franklin, MA.
Our carefully cultivated relationship with Dean College allows us to craft a transition plan for students who have completed their remedial work and mastered the crucial independence skills necessary to live and study for advanced degrees. The Arch Learning Community is a fee-based program designed to support students with diagnosed learning disabilities and/or learning challenges such as attention and memory difficulties. It provides the following types of assistance for students to acquire the necessary skills to be successful in college:
