On August 1, 2018, The Institute for Collegiate & Career Studies and Maplebrook School launched a web series on WPWL, entitled "Focus on Education."
With decades of success educating thousands of students with special needs and learning differences, The Institute is leveraging today's technology to bring much needed information, resources and tools to families that need it. Through the radio series, which is simultaneously streamed via Facebook, The Institute is taking a leadership role in this arena.

Our last show featured Jessica Selino, Director of Student Activities. She shared her expertise on the importance of recreation, leisure activities and community service for students with learning challenges.
This broadcast features Melody O’Neil who is the Associate Director of Admission at Landmark School in Beverly, MA. . She is an expert on topics including understanding language-based learning disabilities and expressive and pragmatic language deficits. She also has a booklet published on Understanding Receptive and Expressive Language Disorders, as part of the Landmark Outreach booklet series.
