Miss Scully began working at Maplebrook in 1994 as a Faculty with Dorm Responsibilities (FDR) and soon began teaching in Maplebrook’s postsecondary program. In 2000, Miss Scully became the Director of Admissions and Alumni, and in 2016, was named the Assistant Head of School for Postsecondary Studies at Maplebrook, which includes the newly revamped Institute for Collegiate and Career Studies (ICCS). Miss Scully holds her B.A. in history from SUNY Albany and her M.A. in Medieval Studies from Fordham University, and has taught as an adjunct at both Fordham and Marist College. She is a member of NYSAIS, MSA, and ASCD, and is the author of The Power of Social Skills in Character Development. She also serves on the Admissions/Graduation Committee and the Visionary Team at Maplebrook. She is a Certified Life Coach. Originally from Syracuse, Miss Scully still bleeds orange. She lives on campus with her three rescued labs, Avery, Becket and Riley. She is an active member of Labs4Rescue, loves to cook, and is an avid amateur photographer. Her work can be seen in several MBS publications. “There is no other place where I would rather work. To see the students reach their goals is worth it all.”
